Dragon Scale Bowl

Royal dragons can live anywhere. The largest of the dragons, they are most often purple or pink, but can be any color at all, even patterns, such as flame, abalone or tigerskin. The most rare of these is the Chameleon dragon, which can change colors at will. They can have any breath weapon and often have several. These scales are from a Mother of Pearl Dragon.

These are shed scales. I collect them or buy them (for outrageous prices sometimes...darn greedy dragons) from real dragons. How can I do this, you ask? It's quite easy when one is also a dragon. (Ok, so in reality these are polymer clay scales. The base bowl is entirely Polymer clay and each scale was placed on it individually. It's coated with a protective acrylic finish. A girl can pretend, can't she?)

Unwrapped food and drink should not be put in these bowls. Wrapped food (such as Chocolate Kisses) are fine. These bowls will hold water and make pretty vases for small flowers.

3 X 2.5 X 3 inches.

Copper Bowl

This polymer clay bowl has been finished with a complicated glazing technique. Many layers of tinted and untinted Translucent Liquid polymer clay were applied. Some layers were also dusted with mica powders. It's then coated with a protective acrylic finish. This technique results in a bowl with lots of depth and luxurious color.
