A Step to Discovery Beaded Shoe

My local arts center, The John Michael Kohler Arts Center periodically has what I call challenges.

"The Soul of Humanity," intrigued me and I decided to enter. The requirement was that a real shoe, or part of one must be in the artwork. This is my entry.

Displayed October 2002 to January 2003.

Mokume Gane Polymer Clay beads, Stamped/Powdered Polymer Clay beads, Delica beads, Japanese seed beads, Miyuki Drop beads, Misc. beads, Twisted Bugle beads.

Herringbone Weave Tube, Peyote Stitch, Bead Embroidery, Branch Fringe, Loop Fringe, Picoting.
